This is me – Nicole Avery! I have been blogging for over three years with my main blog Planning With Kids. I am not a blogging guru, nor do I profess to have all the answers when it comes to blogging. But I have built up an immense amount of knowledge, learnt from my mistakes and have developed strategies to successfully grow my blogs.
My goal through this blog is to share that with you. Through my experience I can help fast track the growth of your blog. There are many “how to blog” blogs out there, but few come from the perspective of an Aussie mummy blogger. This niche has its very own special characteristics – understand these and you will achieve much greater blogging success.

A Little Bit More About Me
I live in an inner eastern suburb of Melbourne, Australia with my gorgeous husband and our five amazing kids. BC or before children, I completed a Business Degree, majoring in Finance. The bulk of my working career prior to kids was spent at a large telecommunciations company. I had a number of different roles, key ones being Performance Manager, Call Centre Manager and Project Manager. I stepped away from corporate life in 2001 to focus on my family.
I love music, politics, reading non fiction, spreadsheets and have a serious addiction to a particular diet cola. I also laugh at toilet humour which is incredibly helpful when you have four sons.
